In most cities, the rental of a mulch spreader is available. This can make landscaping much easier than working by hand. A mulch spreader can cover you entire yard in whatever areas you desire, in as little as a couple of hours. You can also buy a much smaller mulch spreader from a hardware store and do it yourself. This is a great investment to make that will be put to good use for many years.

A mulch spreader is great for anyone who has difficulty staying bent over their garden area for any extended period of time. Planting flowers and other things into your garden can be hard on your back no matter what age or physical condition you are in. Putting down mulch is just as hard on your back and may demand more of your time. Bags of mulch can get heavy an put strain on your back, which can even cause long-term suffering. A mulch spreader keeps you in an upright position, similar to operating a lawn mower.

There are different types of mulch spreader to choose from. Large spreader trucks can usually be rented by the house from some hardware stores. Push-spreaders will require you to put the mulch into a hopper and push it as you would a lawn mover. This spreader drops a fine layer of mulch, which may require you to go over spots more than once. If you would prefer something a little easier, perhaps you should look into the electric spreader. These are more expensive but well worth the money if you have a large yard.

When it comes to spreading mulch, why spend all of your time and energy doing it by hand? You can either rent a large spreader or purchase one from your local hardware store at a reasonable price if you shop around.
